This sharp dogleg left hole dictates that the tee shot needs to be placed to the centre right of the fairway to afford the golfer a good view of the green. Surrounded by the sea on three sides, the green is well protected from the attacking golfer. An elevation difference of 14 metres between the landing area and the green not only makes for a spectacular view, but also tests the golfers' club selection capabilities. Under normal conditions the hole plays relatively short, but also requires two very accurate shots to reach the green without any form of penalty.
